SPCI’s Shadowing Program connects undergraduate students with healthcare providers who care for patients with disabilities and complex medical needs. Through observation and guided reflection, students gain exposure to person-first communication, inclusive care practices, and the ways providers adapt treatment to meet each patient’s unique needs.
